Good afternoon internet people. Today, my father was kind enough to show Gorm and I these three snakes swimming in the little pond in our garden. We named them Eritrea, Ethiopia and Dirk.

(And the obvious truth: I don't like snakes. They scare me. Don't try to convince me that they're cute because they're not. They're traitors!)

Just look at the fish swimming innocently near the damn thing. Sushiii!

Accompanied Gorm to TATTOO by Gene Testa in Robinson's Galleria. This is her second time getting inked. She already has her name in Alibata tattooed near her butt (hehe!), which she had done along with my own hand-and-quill tat last year in Cartimar. Her new piece says "Crossed the Equator" 'cause it's her dream to travel around the world and n'stuff. Awww.

She's leaving Manila for good this weekend since she already resigned from her current job (just finishing the week) and is planning to work in Cebu. Good luck, Gorm :-)

The white board to my left says I'm coming home in three days. Three days. The only thing stopping me (for now) is a poem-assignment. Poems are never ever done. Ever.

Speaking of poetry, I got accepted to the (say it with me, Charz!) University of the Philippines in the Visayas Cebu College (UPVCC) Creative Writing College Writers Workshop, which means that after two years of being intermittently homesick, I can finally go to Sinulog! There's also Papa's 60th (!!!) birthday.

I wonder how I can make a good tapenade without using a food processor. If that doesn't work out, I can always play the cheese-sticks-drowning-in-oil card.
