No, I'm not going to whine and bitch about AISIS and online enlistment. I'm not even part of that 'system of tubes'.

November 7 will be my registration date with all the other LOA comeback kids. I know I'll end up with crap/scary/boring/non-human professors for Theology and Philosophy, and History or Political Science. Electives shmelectives.

But at least I know I'll be getting this certain subject and professor. See that one slot? Me. Me. Me.

So did you feel the earthquake, Cebu?

I was just lying down when I felt an epic thud as if volumes of big-ass science encyclopedias were being dropped from high altitudes. Then the house did a kind of shimmy. Papa just continued to snore. It lasted for a few seconds I think.

The last time I experienced a quake was when I was in Katipunan. I felt very nauseous. Not to mention scared because I was on the 12th floor.

Random: I want to know how to work a sewing machine because RTW has not been kind to my boh-deeh. Can anyone teach me (preferably next year) or know someone who can tutor me or recommend schools or training centers?

Moalboal weekend with Julian, Dave, Mitch, Barry (photos his), Aaron and Gretchen.

Woke up very early. Arrived in time for lunch and kayak-ed like crazy. More swimming. Dinner out of a can. Acoustic karaoke. Slept in Papa's groovy tent. Early morning talking about "the world of Worlfs." Puto breakfast. Late lunch then home.

A cute ant bit my foot and is therefore not cute anymore.

Wasted thirty minutes of my prime waiting in the bank and the lady tells me the 'networks' are 'offline', so no 'inter-bank deposits' for me.

(Then again I think those Promod trousers are urgently cool...)

Also gave Julian a second ear piercing today. Thank you, needle and thimble and awesome threshold. And he has an idea to pitch. What about a new fast food chain called Gloomibee. He'll be black and red with the signature 'emo' coif/hairline. Razor blades for toothpicks. Spiked meals. Waiters with psychosomatic disorders. Etc.

Friday --- SMS invite from the previous night re a beach outing with the boys and some girls from Daupan was threatened by a sore throat. Countered with clam soup (extra spice ang ginge) and Paracetamol.

Drove to Karancho Beach, Mactan. Highlights: videoke machine with (noxious) beer-residuey songbook, beach volley versus Team DB/Kapamilya, beach football that ended with a torn shirt, tipsy Japanese game, etc. Cannot believe it's been four years already.

Saturday --- Outpost with Julian and the father.

Now I'm eating the muffins Mama bought from Bohol Bee Farm. Sooo happy.

Driving school ends tomorrow, and I'm going to give my instructor a box of chocolate cupcakes. Hopefully I'll get better. Soon.

My random number for second sem. enlistment is 115. That's me hanging on to the second batch right there.

Never thought this would happen but methinks I'm experiencing the I-want-to-drive-my-own-car phase. And to think yesterday all I wanted was a decent jumpsuit.

The evening drive, my second time, was doable. Have to remind myself to: 1.) not turn left or right too soon before knowing which road to take; 2.) not panic when there are children or bikers in my line of sight; 3.) not let go of the effing clutch; 4.) switch gears when the engine feels wonky; 5.) chill.

Two puppies died tonight :-(

Had my first driving lesson this morning. I drove (yes) from Recla to Capitol and didn't kill anyone or anything!

Today I shall talk about food.

I've never tasted Hong Kong's egg tarts but these babies, at twenty pesos a pop, are pretty good. I had them warm last night at Dimsum Break and am eating them coldish right now. Also, DB's egg tart is not too sweet and flaky. So people of Cebu, try eht!

Before that, sloppy joe made with red wine and a lot of carrots. And wheat bread for da win.

Things appear when you expect them not to-- a tweeny o-mouth on a black stocking, colored AND checkered bandages (what a treat), etc..

Went to a fah-shyon show yesternight, and the theme was 60's Mod. There was this girl who had a purple yam turnover on her head. And of course [most of] the walking was horrible. Highlight of the event was seeing Lord Maturan from Project Runway Philippines. I wanted to get a photo with him but was, yes, shy.

Next, to the refurbished Cheaverz where they sadly do not sell rumcoke. I did eat ngohiong with their kick-ass dipping sauce. Went home at around 1 and chugged down an obligatory after-inuman bottle of Pocari Sweat (read: No. Hangover.)

I want to drive a car now.

I'm here, and I hope to blog in a few days. Haha.
