Merry Christmas, ebribadi!
I reserved this post for the 25th because I never know what to do on Christmas day. So much energy and hype we pour on the 24th, noh? Moving on...
I don't know why Gorm thought of putting on a Yukata last night. Next thing I knew I was running to my room to get my Obi and big-ass ribbon. Tried it on her and it stayed for dinner. She was also my cooking assistant 'til she got tired of stirring the barbecue sauce, announcing: "Gorm, I'm bored".
I kept last night's Christmas spread simple: roasted carrots, smashed potatoes, mozarella-stuffed meatballs on red sauce pasta and barbecued pork spareribs marinated in beer.
For dessert, Mama ordered frozen Brazo de Mercedes. Oh mah gah.
I hope you had a good Christmas dinner too!

Now have a seat as the next few sentences are of transcendental significance. The one and only (forever) Mizzz Barbra Streisand was named Kennedy Center Honoree along with Morgan Freeman, George Jones, Twyla Tharp and The Who's Pete Townshend and Roger Daltry.
But it gets better. Guess who did a superb cover (with rave reviews from The Washington Post) of Bab's "Don't Rain on My Parade"?
Fast-forward to 00:10!
The event will air on the tube December 30th. I give YouTube a week max.
Ergo 2009 shall be awesome. Diva or die, forevermore!

The Loot: Carcar chicharon, Argao torta (small and large), Bohol Bee farm muffins (corn, carrot), Cheaverz Ngohiong, Pringles (2), Oreo (box), a bottle of coffee, etc...
So I wolfed down a small pack of Chicharon, one large torta and Pringles. Just like that.
Tomorrow, Ngohiong loves Kimchi and vice versa.
