I had this thing on my lap for nearly two hours inside an ACed vehicle. It was raining out. Click on the photo to see the glory.

I'm sort of glad the holidays are over. No more looking forward to all the eating, only to be disappointed by a waning appetite (because stuffing yourself to the maximum takes time and practice; i.e. stomach-capacity expansion is an art!) Right now I'm contented with a slice of warm toast and a dollop orange marmalade. Yes.

Will be mailing out a bunch of gifts for the Sakai family, my Japanese hosto famiri, later. I know a little someone-boy who's getting a bronze jeepney!

An even simpler and healthier menu for the New Year: baked fish fillet on a bed of spinach, baked scallops and lemon shrimp (the photo I took was too blurry, so it ain't here!)





Also not here is Gorm because of work. But I'm sure Erika and the rest of the Bolima family are stuffing her silly. En-hoi!
