A hard rain's a-gonna fall
They have Calpis in Rustan's Supermarket, Katipunan. Oh my deity.
For the uninitiated, I dare you to try it. It's Yakult's casual cousin. Good stuff. I managed to nail Regine Velasquez's "Dadalhin" at 1 a.m. in some japanese karaoke place with this happy tonic. 168php for 1.5 liters. For champions.

Open letter
A cup of buko juice illegally purchased from outside the premises, when the higher-ups didn’t care that much, was the ultimate tonic for balmy afternoons. This was high school life: diluted.
We were simpler then. We liked simple things. Now I cannot help but be floored by how technology has altered us. How every move is calibrated to whitewash, at the outset, a neutral invention. I beg that you stop making a spectacle of yourself for reasons you do not yet know. Or if you do know, ask yourself if it's really worth it. Know when to end. P.S. In Cebuano: Palihug ayaw paka-uwawa imo'ng kaugalingon.
